Chanel Christy is currently a visionary third year art student at George Mason University, on a journey towards a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design. Unsure of what direction to take in life when she started college, Chanel took on a project “just for fun” for an up and coming podcast in 2020, which she created social media posts for. This was her first professional taste of what it’s like being in the creative field. This project sparked her curiosity to explore the realms of art and design. Following the podcast project, Chanel took on more independent projects to discover her interests and skills. Some of which included creating logos, posters, and even designing her own font. Apart from art and design, she is also known for her freelance photography, which she started in 2021. Chanel is a passionate advocate for small businesses, leveraging her freelance projects to empower and uplift these enterprises through creative solutions and support.
